I became a teacher because I love inspiring young minds to shine in their own individual ways through their creative talents. Each child brings their own unique qualities to the classroom which helps to build a strong diverse community- one built on acceptance and appreciation of our cultural differences. I love when the students are learning from each other. I build a classroom family culture where all students are a part of a team with the same goal for student-directed classroom success.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI spent an entire year teaching kindergarten online to 33 students on zoom during the pandemic. It was an incredible learning curve. Students were successful!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the money to buy materials for my students, pay off grad school, and invest for my future.
