Growing up, I had amazing teacher role models that made me excited to learn and to do the same with my life! One of these people is my mom. She has an early childhood degree and has worked with children in many capacities. Her love of children and teaching is still inspiring to this day as a grandma. I also love that I can inspire young people to make a difference in the world! I can model kindness, empathy and acceptance.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceHow can I choose just one?! I think anytime a child shows resilience and a growth mindset and then makes growth in an area that is difficult for them is an amazing experience! Anytime a child shows kindness to another child is memorable!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would probably spend some of the money on things for my classroom because that’s what teachers do. ; ) I have some debt to pay off as well as dreams to support my own children in realizing their life dreams!
