I became a teacher because it has been calling me my entire life. I am a forever learner, and I want my students to love learning as much as I do. I want them to embrace curiosity, think critically, and feel proud to be what society calls a “nerd.” Education is power, and I strive to create a space where they see their brilliance, find joy in knowledge, and know they belong. Teaching isn’t just my job—it’s my purpose, my passion, and my way of changing the world.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One of my most memorable teaching experiences was when I taught students how the plot affects characters by making up a story on the spot. They were engaged, hanging on every word, and soon, they started adding their own ideas. Watching their excitement, creativity, and deep understanding of the skill grow in real-time reminded me why I love teaching. Moments like that—where learning feels alive and exciting—are what make this job so powerful and fulfilling.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, I would invest in my business of coaching teachers and curriculum consulting. My goal is to awaken the passion for teaching by providing educators with the support, strategies, and resources they need to thrive. I want to help teachers find joy in their work, create meaningful learning experiences, and inspire the next generation. By expanding my reach, I can empower more educators, ultimately transforming classrooms and impacting students far beyond my own.
