Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher to be part of something meaningful—shaping young minds and making a lasting impact. Teaching older two-year-olds is incredible; their curiosity and excitement make every day rewarding. I love knowing my work matters, not just for the children but for the future of early childhood education. My goal is to create a joyful learning space and inspire other educators to keep raising the bar.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

I don’t have just one memorable experience every year brings special moments. Each class I’ve taught has taken a Nativity photo and performed a small play, making the story come to life in their own way. Every Easter, we also recreate the Last Supper, a tradition that never loses its meaning. Teaching two-year-olds at a Catholic school, I love seeing their curiosity about Jesus grow. Hearing them talk about their faith and understanding in their own words is always a rewarding experience.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I win America's Favorite Teacher, I'd use the $25K to secure my future by saving a portion, invest in professional development to keep growing as an educator, and take a special trip with my mom—a shared reward for all the support she's given me along the way.
