Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

I once taught a struggling 7th-grade math class where students had never passed a state test. They felt defeated before they even tried. With belief, data-driven strategies, and relentless encouragement, they made their biggest academic gains ever. The moment they saw their scores—and their potential—was unforgettable. I teach because moments like that change lives. It’s beyond teaching. Seeing their level of resilience was a learning experience I’ll never forget.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Winning $25,000 would be life-changing! After leaving an abusive relationship OF 16 years, I had to rebuild my life with my three kids. Winning $25,000 would help me regain financial independence while launching a coaching program for new K-8 teachers. With 23 years of experience, I want to equip teachers with classroom management, instructional strategies, and student engagement techniques—ensuring they thrive in their careers and make a lasting impact on students.
