I have worn many hats. But my favorite has been teaching. I love children and enjoy seeing them grow and learn. This is what I am best suited for, teaching. I get up in the morning and I do not dread going to work, I love what I do and I feel blessed that I can do something that I love. Everyday I get to see the students eyes light up when the get it. They then know they have more possibilities with more knowledge.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experiencePlaying the flyswatter game with the students. That is there favorite. They get be in competition with each other and they help their teammates to find the answers. It is a sneaky way for them to learn to see a sign and connect it with the word. They come away more confident in their ability with the language and had a great time doing it.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would like to get my masters in Education. I haven't done it yet because I have a child in college maybe once he is done then I can, but if I had the money, I would be able to do it now. And as always I would have money for my classroom wants not just my needs. I may buy myself a little something, too.
