I became a teacher because my mother was a teacher in Detroit Public Schools. I saw the impact she made with her students on a daily basis and I wanted to do the same.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI’ve had several former students come back to visit me and tell me thank you for being “strict” and/or “mean”. They said they realize it is because I love them. Even a current 9th grader said it this year.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I won 25k I would finish a few home projects, take my family on a nice vacation, and save the rest of the money for the future.
