I love teaching because I love the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of children, and building positive relationships.

I became a teacher because I my mother was a teacher. She taught me the importance of a good education. She always taught me to always submit my very best work in all subject area.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience is when I taught EC pre-K in the state of North Carolina. I had a student who was nonverbal by the middle of the school year he was talking. We went over colors numbers and ABCs and we counted from 1 to 20 daily. Of course I would do all of this for him but one day just out of nowhere started counting. He ended up counting from 1-20. I cried the remainder of the day.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I had $25,000 I would give my classroom a make over. Student growth is important to me so I would buy phonics materials, math, Stem, science, engineering and reading materials. Ensuring that my students are exposed in all the above areas is imperative to me.
