Register NowI had an epiphany one day. It just became so, so obvious that I had been teaching all along and that is what I was meant to do.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI got to chaperone a group of 10 rural kids to Spain. One girl was particularly shy and had decided she would enter the workforce after graduation, not sure she could handle college. We were hanging out in Parque Retiro and stumbled on a book fair. She and I huddled up and practiced the requisite phrases and she was able to independently complete her transaction in Spanish! This shifted her view of herself and her post-high school options. It was a great day!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would travel to see more of our amazing planet and to increase my content area expertise, el español. :-)
