Learn MoreI became a teacher because I wanted to make a positive impact on children’s lives. Growing up, I had teachers who inspired me and helped me believe in myself. I wanted to do the same for others—helping students discover their potential, fostering a love for learning, and supporting them as they grow into confident and curious individuals.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was when a shy student who struggled with reading finally read a book aloud to the class on their own. The smile on their face and the pride they felt made me realize how powerful small moments of progress can be. It reminded me why I became a teacher—to help students believe in themselves and achieve things they didn’t think were possible.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to further my education by pursuing a master’s degree in education. This would allow me to deepen my knowledge, enhance my teaching skills, and bring even more valuable strategies back to the classroom. Investing in my own growth will ultimately benefit my students by providing them with a more enriched and effective learning experience.
