I became a teacher because I want to be a guide for future generations. Growing up, I looked up to a lot of my teachers. So I want to make sure that future generations also get the same opportunity to look up to someone they can trust and believe will do right by them to guide them on the right path.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceThe most memorable moment during my teaching experience is when I was teaching math and a student that usually needs a little extra time understood the concept and was so happy that he actually yelled out “oh my gosh! I get it!”. I was so proud of him and he wanted to do problems on the board to help other students understand.
What would you do with the $25,000?With the $25,000 I will use it to help pay off my student loans. I am currently in a lot of student debt and it’ll help relieve some of that financial burden.
