Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I knew this job would not only be fulfilling but also rewarding. My kindergarten teacher taught me to love school and always feel stage. I went into teaching to provide other students this same feeling. I build a loving classroom where all students can be themselves. My career is more than I could have ever imagined and love it each and every day.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

Many of my students are nonverbal and have a variety of needs. My favorite memory of teaching is always watching my students grow. This goes from my preschool students who have never been in a classroom who start reading during their two years with me or to my first grade students who are now starting to communicate in full sentences. There is never just one memorable teaching experience, it is all the students and parents who have trusted me to prove them an education.

What would you do with the $25,000?

This $25,000 would help me and family buy a house in the future.
