Tell us why you became a teacher

I was a teachers aid for three years before I became a teacher. I love watching the lightbulb come on when they learn to read or learn something new that they’ve struggled with. I’m an ADHD adult so I can keep up with my kids and we do love to dance, sing and be silly!

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

That’s impossible! I swear there’s something memorable that happens every single day in class! Whenever my kids pass a certain level in math, they have to stand up and get on the microphone and scream, “I GOT A TROPHYYYYYYY!” Standing ovation ensues. Lol

What would you do with the $25,000?

Buy a newer car to get me to and from school for the next 20 years! 😉
