Learn MoreFirst off, I had some amazing teachers in elementary school that I had always admired and looked up to. When I started my first job as an after school teacher(extended care), I then realized at a young age that I had the ability to make deep and meaningful connections with kids. This kept me motivated to pursue my career in teaching and to become a teacher like those that inspired me when I was younger.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI don’t have one in particular, but I loooove seeing students that I have taught in the past when they are all grown up. I love hearing that they still talk about my class (I teach kindergarten!) and that they still remember everything I’ve taught them. This just feels so amazing.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would keep a good portion of it for my 2 kiddos college funds (maybe $10,000 each?) and then use the rest to spend on that Hawaiian vacation!!!
