Being a teacher is the only thing I’ve ever wanted to be! Starting in about 1st grade it’s what I said I was going to be when I grew up. Once I got to 3rd grade I had a teacher who was incredibly hard but we still had fun and he pushed us in all the ways a teacher should. I’ve never looked back!
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceThere have been so many that it’s hard to narrow it down! One of the most memorable has to be hatching chicks in my first grade classroom. The whole experience from the kids getting to see the chick moving inside the egg to throwing lesson plans out the window so we can all stand around and watch on hatching day and cheer as another one hatched made that day so special!
What would you do with the $25,000?There are several classroom games and materials I would like to add to my classroom! I’d also like to find a rocking chair and paint it bright and “teachery” for my classroom. Personally, I have some loans I’d like to pay down to a slightly less stressful level.
