Register NowI needed extra assistance when I was a child that I did was not provided in elementary school and I swore to myself I would become a teacher to ensure all student are given a positive learning environment so they can learn to their highest potential and enjoy learning.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceIt was the most memorable teaching experience seeing the students smiling faces at an Autism Acceptance Community Event I helped put together for our special education families. It is also so rewarding when students come back from college and thank you for being so patient with them and helping them get to where they are now!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would donate it do Mount Vernon City School District SEPTA so this Special Education PTA can provide our special education classes field trips where they can experience more hands on activities that are not provided for them due to transportation that is too expensive to use offered in our district.
