I love teaching because I love making a difference in the way kids see education and building special relationships.

My first career was not a teacher. My Bachelor’s degree is Business Management. I put myself through college, worked full time and a substitute teacher. I got laid off in 2010 when layoffs were being done in the US. I woke up in 2011 and decided to go back to school to teach. I don't regret it one bit.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience is when the students I taught in elementary school asked me to come to their graduation. This shows they think a lot about me and I made an impact on their education.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would plan a week long trip to Disney for my my grandkids. Then I would pay off some of my bills. The remaining amount I would stock my classroom with snacks, drinks and other essential items for my students!!!
