Tell us why you became a teacher

My whole life I’ve always wanted to work with kids. With teaching, I get to help build up the next generation & provide the students with endless love and support. Teaching students to read is a long process but so rewarding, it is so awesome to see the growth they make through the year. I hope to make a positive impact in all my students lives.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable teaching experience would be my student teacher year. I taught in the Arizona State University Next Generation teaching style, while it had its challenges, I learned so much because of it. Education is evolving, so should our teaching styles. Right now, my team and I use this teaching style during math and phonics time. It’s an amazing way to adapt to students needs and learning styles!

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000 I would pay off the remaining student loans I have.
