The reality is, I became a teacher because I did not have kind and caring teachers growing up. I was told too many times that I couldn’t do it, I talked too much, or I asked too many questions. None of my teachers asked how I slept the night before or what my hobbies were. As a result, I wanted to be a teacher so kids would enjoy coming to school to learn while also having fun. School wouldn’t become a chore, but instead somewhere they felt safe where I could also connect with parents!

I would use the money to help animals at our local animal shelters. I would also love to help teachers and students living in low income areas by buying them school supplies , books, and things they do not usually have that would make learning more enjoyable and memorable.
