I became a teacher because I believe that a great education can transform individual lives, families and entire communities. I want to give those same opportunities that I was fortunate to have to my students.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience is an ongoing one, which is hearing from former students that I have had over the past 16 years in the classroom. I feel hopeful and encouraged when I hear their stories of success and see photos of them graduating and going out into the world to accomplish great things. I feel humbled that they remember me as part of their journey towards fulfillment and success!
What would you do with the $25,000?With a gift of this magnitude, I would pay off my remaining student loans taken out to obtain my graduate degrees.
