I became a teacher to share my passion for science and help students develop into better people inside and outside of the classroom.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceWhen a struggling science student emailed me two years later to thank me for always believing in them. They went on to become an honors science student who was earning A’s, and they attributed much of their growth to my class. That is why I teach.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the money to help my family improve our financial situation by paying off some debt and hopefully taking my wife and almost 3 year old daughter on our first family vacation!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like America's Favorite Teacher, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
