Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because without the teacher’s who inspired and shared what they had learned with me I would never be who and where I am. When I teach students and I see those lights turn on in their eyes, there is nothing better!!! Teaching also gives me the opportunity to continue learning, studying and discovering both with my students and outside the class!!! Quite simply my high school teacher changed my life and my life’s trajectory, now I have the chance to do that for others I Love It!

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

I think my most memorable experience is really a conglomeration of many experiences. It’s the experience of students looking up at me or back at me and saying “Really… What I did was good?” Seeing students finding their value when Maby they have never seen it before… And then seeing that Realization Blossoming. Nothing better.

What would you do with the $25,000?

My initial reaction is $5000 for a Fat Vacation for me and my family and $20,000 to create something Great! A book, a 30 foot sculpture, a film to change the world!!! But then I realize I don’t own a home so, Probably put the $20,000 on the house and still write the book, make the film and create the 30 foot golden sculpture. Truly I create works of Art, I am a Living Artist and Love is the message all this will convey. Also if I could go to outer space for the vacation… I would do that.
