Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a pre-k teacher because I believe in the power of early education and the incredible impact it can have on a child's future. There's something magical about those early years when children are so curious, full of wonder, and eager to learn. I love being a part of their first experiences with school, helping to shape their love for learning and providing a nurturing environment where they feel safe and valued. Each day is filled with joy, laughter, and the excitement of new discoveries.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One of the most memorable times during my teaching career was when I had a student who was very shy and struggled with speaking in front of the class. Over the course of the year, we worked together on building his confidence through small, supportive activities. One day, he volunteered to present a project in front of the entire class. I watched as he stood up there, a bit nervous at first, but then he started speaking with such enthusiasm and clarity. The whole class cheered for him when he fi

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, I could do so many amazing things! I might want to invest in my classroom, getting new supplies, technology, or even creating a special learning space for my students. I could also use some of it for personal growth, like taking courses or attending workshops to enhance your teaching skills. And of course, treating myself to a nice vacation or something I’ve always wanted wouldn't hurt either!
