I'll never forget the kindness of my kindergarten teacher, who showed up to my mom's funeral when I was just a little girl. Her presence made me feel seen, loved, and comforted during one of the toughest days of my life. That moment had a profound impact on me, and it sparked a desire to make a similar difference in the lives of my own students. I wanted to be the teacher who shows up, who cares, and who makes her students feel loved.

One moment that stands out above the rest is when I invited over 30 of them to my wedding! It was a surreal experience seeing students from different years, both past and present, come together to celebrate with me. But what made it even more special was the love and support they showed me. It reminded me that teaching is so much more than just imparting knowledge – it's about building relationships, creating memories, and making a lasting impact on young lives.

If I were to receive $25,000, I would allocate the funds in a responsible and forward-thinking manner. First, I would dedicate $10,000 towards paying off my outstanding student loans, freeing myself from a significant portion of my debt. Next, I would utilize $5,000 to settle other high-priority debts, ensuring a cleaner financial slate. Finally, I would invest $10,000 in a college savings plan, securing a strong financial foundation for my future children.
