I became a teacher because I love learning myself! I want to inspire and instill a love of learning in all of my students! It’s truly a blessing to learn alongside my students every day.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI’m making memories each day with my little ones, and have so many over the past 34 years! It makes it so hard to pick just one! I LOVE it when my students take what they’ve learned home and share it with their families! It’s a blessing to get those videos or emails from families when their children are singing songs we’ve learned, writing the letter we’ve learned that day, or retelling a poem or rhyme we’ve learned!
What would you do with the $25,000?I LOVE Disney, so I’d have to take a few days there, of course! Our home is quite old , I’d put a portion of it into repairs, and then put the rest towards my Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education
