I became a teacher to help children. There’s no better reward than to see the smiles when they get an answer correct, or when they finally understand something they’ve been struggling with! The unconditional love and hugs from them is pretty amazing too.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable moment as a teacher was when a student I had the previous year introduced me to one of her friends as “the lady that helped her grow when she was struggling the most”. She told her friend that I never gave up on her, and I didn’t let her give up either. Just melted my heart.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would pay off some debt. Teacher salaries aren’t the best, and with cost of living constantly rising, teachers are unfortunately struggling……Especially in a single income family household like me.
