Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I knew it would be a career that would allow me to be a great father for my family. I am able to be a big part of my son’s life. It also provides opportunities to try and help others students become successful leaders.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

There are many although one of my favorites was during my student teaching. I have worked mostly with upper grades but was in a first grade class for student teaching. One day we were walking to specials and I looked at one of the students and asked him what was coming out the bottom of his pants? He looked down and saw that it was underwear and he kicked it out of his pants. They had found their way in there because of the dryer but after he kicked them off, they landed in my shoulder. Lol

What would you do with the $25,000?

With this amount of money, I first would need to do some work on my house. We need new exterior siding. We also need to fix and upgrade our master bedroom. We also need new tires for my wife’s car. I would also enjoy spending some on the vacation to Hawaii.
