Learn MoreI became a teacher because of my love for watching young people succeed. There's nothing more fulfilling than helping students discover their potential, overcome challenges, and grow into confident individuals. I find joy in creating a space where learning is exciting.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience happens every year when I see the pride on my students' faces during graduation. Many of my students have struggled academically, facing personal challenges along the way. Seeing them walk across the stage, knowing how hard they worked to get there, fills me with immense pride.
What would you do with the $25,000?With $25,000, I would use the money to sponsor student travel, giving them opportunities to experience new cultures, learn beyond the classroom, and broaden their horizons. Many of my students lack the financial means to travel. This money could give them access to educational trips that could transform their lives. I’d also invest in resources to support their academic growth and help foster experiences that encourage personal development, curiosity, and a global perspective.
