Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I love working with children. I also love teaching an awesome lesson and I then see successful results from the kids. I love devoting myself to teaching. Teaching is my life.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

The most memorable teaching experience I had was the first day of school. One of my students told me that “she can’t draw a straight line and how am I going to pass this class?” I told the student not to be discouraged and that I will guide her each day. The student was so happy and she totally did not know she has talent in art. Her painting was beautifully rendered. She felt that I found her talent that she did not know she had . It was a huge accomplishment in my teaching career .

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I won the $25,000 , I would pay my daughter’s medical / hospital bills. My daughter has been diagnosed with a rare disease called Addison’s disease. My daughter needs to take medicine three times a day to stay alive. She is also in and out from the hospital every month. The disease is so rare that the doctors really don’t know what to do when my daughter has a crises so they tell her to go to the hospital. The money would really help my family a lot to pay off the numerous bills.
