I became a teacher to help students who were like me in school succeed and be a confident student. I also wanted to support those who were different from me and help them find their path and their purpose!
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable moment as a teacher would be seeing my kids encourage and push each other while learning chemistry. We love to use s’mores to teach physical and chemical changes and it’s so fun to make it relatable and interesting to middle schoolers!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would buy new microscopes for my classroom and supplies for my students who don’t have the privilege to purchase their own materials. I would also use it to provide my kids with more hands-on labs!
