Learn MoreMy high school French teacher made learning another language fun through games and collaborative projects. She also took our class on a trip to France to experience French culture firsthand. Learning in her class felt natural, and her ability to make students comfortable speaking a foreign language inspired me to become a French teacher myself. Dancing has been my passion since a young age. I teach people how to ballroom dance to help them decompress, gain confidence, and stay healthy!
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceRecently, a group of students told me that they love my French class because of how naturally they acquire the language. They explained that they do not realize they are learning, as our creative class projects help them pick up on the language with ease. Hearing this feedback from my students was an extremely memorable moment for me. Another student told me that our dance lessons have given him renewed confidence and helped him climb out of a period of depression. Dance is truly healing!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to pay off my student loans from my masters degree in education.
