I became a teacher because growing up school felt like my safe place. I was always happy at school and wanted to learn. When i grew up I wanted to create a space for children to feel safe and cared for.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceIn my fourth year of teaching I was on my local new channel with my class encouraging the community to support teachers and kids
What would you do with the $25,000?I would feel so blessed and take care of medical bills, house bills, and start a better savings for my family. I’d also use a chunk of the money for classroom carpet, supplies, winter gear, and snacks/food for my students.
