I love teaching because it lets me inspire, support, and empower every child to grow, learn, and feel valued in their unique journey.

I became a teacher because I wanted to make a difference in the lives of children, especially those with unique challenges. Growing up, I saw how a supportive, patient educator could transform not just academic outcomes but also self-confidence and resilience. This inspired me to work with underprivileged students and families, helping them navigate challenges, build skills, and achieve their potential.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experiences aren’t tied to one moment but to the growth I see in my students. It’s in the connections we build—their smiles, the hugs, the laughter, and the times they say, “I love you.” Watching them overcome challenges, celebrate successes, and grow academically and emotionally is what stays with me. It’s the little moments of joy and connection that make teaching so meaningful and remind me why I love what I do.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I won the $25,000, I would use it to start my own private practice dedicated to supporting neurodiverse children and their families. My goal is to create a safe, inclusive space where children can thrive through personalized therapies, skill-building, and family support. This practice would focus on helping children reach their full potential while empowering families with the tools and strategies they need to navigate their unique journeys with confidence.
