At the age of nine, I began my journey at Saturn Elementary School, a place that mirrored my own passion for learning. Inspired by teachers who made me love education, I would teach my stuffed animals and dolls, with my mother playing the role of principal. My goal was always to create an environment that felt safe, inclusive, and full of love a true community. As I now nurture young minds, I take immense pride in shaping the foundation of education, helping students become fearless learners!

For the past three years, each winter holiday, I’ve rallied my community to sponsor a child in my Title 1 classroom. What began with fulfilling toy wishlists has grown to providing shoes (up to $160) and, this year, bicycles to encourage physical activity. These efforts have created lasting memories for students, who often face economic barriers that limit their ability to receive such gifts. This initiative has made a profound impact, giving them something truly special.

I will use the funds to expand my current holiday initiative as my dream is to reach more classrooms and children in need. A portion will be invested in branding, turning the initiative into a powerful, lasting force for change. Additionally, as I pursue a doctoral degree in instructional technology, these funds will support my growth, empowering me to drive innovation in education and equip students and educators with the tools needed to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving learning landscape.
