Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I connect with scholars and have the skills to meet them where they are and help them navigate through the learning and emotional development to become young adults.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable teaching experience is when a scholar had never experienced coding and they took my course and became a software engineer.

What would you do with the $25,000?

There are multiple things I desire to do with the $25,000 - first I would like to put a down payment on a home and secondly - invest in my classroom to create a safe and engaging space for learning and thirdly - always contribute to retirement account.
