Ms. J was my favorite teacher in Pre-K. Whenever my mom and dad were going through their issues, my sweet grandpa would walk me to school and I remember feeling very loved with Ms. J. She loved me enough to ask me why I wasn’t playing with others one day. I told her I was shy and dealing with a lot at home. She cared enough to buy me a doll one day. I remember thinking to myself “I want to be like Ms. J”. So here I am! Trying to make the best in each student’s lives with love and care.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceIt’s always a little things to me! I love receiving a handwritten note or a drawing. It makes me know that the child has a love for you too as well after pouring into them each day.
What would you do with the $25,000?The money would help me in life. Teaching is a ministry, not a what most people can live of off. It would help me pay bills, rent, and save for my future.
