I originally became a teacher to make myself more marketable with my athletic training certification. Never did I realize that I would fall in love with teaching and trying to help young scholars learn about Athletic Training and heath in general. I also have a Biology and Physical Education credentials. So with those credential I was able to teach more classes. I now teach Health where I really instruct students on how to make healthy choices.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI have two one was in 2013 where I won the Alameda County Office for Best Tobacco prevention teacher. The second was coming in first for my buy back vaping program I do at my high school in the state of California where we then came in Fourth Nationally. To me that was a great achievement where I have bought back almost 1,000 vapes in exchange the student or community member that gets a $5.00 gift card.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I won this money I would put it back into the buy back vaping program and use as a scholarship for my students who in my multiplying good club show volunteerism in the community.
