Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One of my most memorable teaching moments as a science teacher was when I taught my 6th graders the Plate Boundaries song. Despite their initial grumbles and complaints, they ended up laughing and dancing along. Years later, when former students visited, they still remembered the song and the concepts behind it. It was a joyful reminder that learning can be fun and memorable. That experience solidified for me the power of creativity in teaching—transforming complex ideas into engaging moments.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I had $25,000, I would take my family on an unforgettable trip to the Galápagos Islands, exploring the unique wildlife and landscapes where Darwin's theory of evolution came to life would be an incredible experience for us all. I would invest in science supplies for my classroom, ensuring my students have access to hands-on labs that ignite their curiosity and passion for learning. This combination of family adventure and educational enhancement would create lasting inspiring memories.
