Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceWhen one of my students won 1st place in a national art contest - it was a moment when I witnessed him realizing that he can do anything he put his mind and effort into, and believing in himself. To know I had a small part in helping him get there - was a proud moment for me.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use some on my family - set up my teen kids’ rooms and my home art studio. I would set up a weekend field trip to the MET and MoMA with my students - most of them has never been to a big art museum and I want to change that. I would also set up artist workshops so my students can meet artists and work with them and learn from them.
