I always known I’ve wanted to be a teacher. I was the kid who needed a little extra support and I want that person for others. Making a difference in a kids life and telling them they can do anything they put their mind to.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI love when they use what they learn in class in their daily lives. That could be describing the weather or how to treat others. Seeing them pick each other up and encouraging each other to be their best selves. Especially when they move on from my classroom, they still come to visit to say hi and update me about how they are doing.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the money towards my masters degree in education. I would like to continue giving back to my community in thanksgiving food drives and Christmas gift donations in a bigger way.
