Register NowI started out as a physicist actually and I missed the community I built in the classroom. I loved my experience as a student and wanted to bring that experience to my students. I also love the relationships I build with the rest of my school community, other teachers, parents, admin, custodial staff, etc. I guess you could say I love being a part of the education world
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceTwo years ago I brought my high schoolers mostly juniors and seniors to the museum of science in Boston. A lot of them hadn't been on a field trip since before the pandemic and I was nervous they would be too cool for the museum and think it was lame. But I saw every single one of those big high schoolers turn into little kids and enjoy all the hands on game like experiences the museum offered. I hope all of us get a chance to be little kids like that again once in a while
What would you do with the $25,000?Some would be set aside for my baby's college tuition. Some might go towards house projects. Some would go into upgrading the teacher room and maybe a pizza party for the entire school teachers, kids, staff everyone
