Becoming a teacher is often fueled by a strong sense of purpose and passion for helping others. I have a great passion to make a difference, shaping young minds and aiding their growth academically, emotionally, and socially. My love for learning drives me to inspire others and celebrate those "aha" moments. For me teaching is seen as a vocation, with some feeling a calling to serve their communities. Teaching non-English-speaking students creates profound educational experiences built on connection and creativity. A student struggling with basic instructions may have a breakthrough through gestures and visuals, proving the power of persistence. Moments like these reinforce the importance of adaptability in teaching. Cultural exchanges also enrich the classroom. What would you do with the $25,000?

If I win, I will feel incredibly fortunate and put it to meaningful use. I will pay my husband’s medical bills and donating to the Alzheimer’s Foundation. I wanted-to help someone in need, as I know what it’s like to struggle. Always spend my own money on food for students. A small vacation with my kids is important to me— Finally, I have been diagnosed with a a chronic disease and must begin chemotherapy treatment, which is not fully covered by insurance. This financial support will help.
