Tell us why you became a teacher

Being a teacher was my second choice; I originally wanted to be a dentist, but because the tuition was too expensive and I couldn't afford it, I chose to become a teacher instead. I graduated as a teacher and I have no regrets about my profession because I am able to help many children change their perspectives on life and understand how important education is for their future.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

I have a student with ADHD who faced challenges with disruptions and absences due to family issues. I stayed connected with him and his mother, offering support. He graduated high school with honors, and I was honored to be invited to his graduation, where he thanked me. Witnessing him overcome his obstacles and achieve success was an incredibly fulfilling experience.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest in new teaching materials, such as technology and supplies, to make my lessons more engaging. I also plan to use part of the money for my professional and personal development to continue growing as an educator and individual.
