Register NowI believed I had a voice to share with students from all walks of life that "failure is never." I believe my struggles, living in poverty even with a degree, and not giving up on my dreams was a story to be told. It was difficult, embarrassing and heartbreaking.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable moment was when I shared with my students that I was on the blink of homelessness. I told them about how poor I was even having a degree. The class started crying before I could finish.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would restore my mother's house, put up a fence and built a patio where I could sit and read books from my library. I also would buy my son who needs a miracle to get his life together, a car. I could use a break.
