Learn MoreI became a teacher because I wanted my students to have a teacher who loves and cares for them. I wanted to teach from a lens they can trust and believe in. I love what I do , and they can see that I have energy and passion for the practice . I truly believe all students are intelligent , and they need useful tools and high expectations from their teachers . High expectations change their lives and how they view themselves. I love witnessing positive change.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching moments is when my special education students passed their smarter balance assessments with passing scores . I love when you’re doing the work and it’s reflected in data AND the classroom!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would save some of the 25,000, pay down some of my mortgage , and travel during the summer. I’d also buy an interactive smart board for my classroom!
