I initially wanted to become an architect, but due to financial constraints, it led me to pursuing education instead. After looking back, I believe this is my true calling. In a way, I still became an architect - helping students design & build a better future. Teaching gives me a deep sense of moral responsibility to provide quality education, ensuring the next generation is equipped to be the future providers of our country. It’s more than a job. I am 100% sure it’s my purpose.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was when my former Geometry students told me they only missed school because of my class & that they finally enjoyed learning Math. Hearing that made me feel truly accomplished & proud. It gave me reassurance that I am making a real impact, helping students develop skills they will use in life beyond the classroom. Knowing I’ve helped them see the beauty of Math & its value in the real world is the greatest reward as a teacher.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I win $25,000, I will give back to those who genuinely help my family & I without expecting anything in return but paying it forward as they do. I will also sponsor a school event mainly to inspire and foster the love for Math among the students.. Lastly, I will fulfill a travel dream by taking my family to Disney World in Florida & make more memories with my kids while they are young.
