I come from a family of educators who inspired me to follow on that path. I have also always loved working with young children. I love getting to work with young children with diverse needs and teach them how to build relationships with each other.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceA lot of my students are still learning how to communicate. This can take many forms (sign language, AAC device, touching a visual, verbal words, etc.) and any time one of them communicates something for the first time or something new to me it always sticks out in my mind as a happy memory.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I won $25,000 I would use it to first help pay off my car and then I would use what is left and put it towards getting my master’s degree and materials for my classroom.
