I became a teacher to make a positive impact in the lives of my students. As an intervention specialist I get to provide students with the tools and resources they need to learn. I get to be an advocate for them. I became a teacher to make a difference in my students' lives.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience is being there for one of my students who was going through cancer treatments for Leukimia. I remember how strong I thought she was! She always came in with such a positive attitude and tried her hardest at everything she did. She taught me so much as I try to follow her example as I travel on my own cancer journey!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to help pay debts and medical expenses for treatments for my Stage 4 Kidney Cancer.
