I pursued a teaching career mid-life after moving to a small community for my spouse’s work. I was asked to sub at my children’s school and fell in love with teaching! It was the most exhausting job I had ever had, but left me feeling more fulfilled than anything else I had done in my previous business career.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI am in my sixth year of teaching 3rd grade and the best thing is when my former students come back to visit and greet me with a hug. My goal is to create relationships with kids and this kind of greeting tells me this was accomplished!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would pursue my masters degree in education.
