It is so magical to teach first graders! When they come in on day one they usually know most letters/sounds, but can read books by the end!

Register NowAs a little girl of age 3 I knew I was destined to be a teacher. I would set up my stuffed animals as students and I would play school all day long teaching my "students" on my green chalkboard the letters and sounds. Being a teacher is so rewarding. There's nothing better when you are teaching a lesson and you can see how it just clicks with your students and they have that "aha" "I get it " moment!
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI absolutely love teacher my 1st graders how to read and learning phonics rules in words to help them with reading. Early on in the school year I was teaching my class about magic e on the end of words how the vowel amd magic e become a vowel team and it changes the first vowel to a long vowel to say it's name. I had a sweet first grader raise his hand and tell me-now I get it I have magic e in my name! It's magical moments like this that makes teaching so worth it!😃
What would you do with the $25,000?In a heartbeat I would take my 4 children to Disney World! As a teacher, my salary is not a lot and my children have always wanted to go and experience "The Happiest Place on Earth"!
